MemberVu is committed to protecting your privacy under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173). This policy explains what we collect, why, and how you can exercise your rights.
1. Who we are
MemberVu is a membership management platform developed and operated by Zeniark Philippines Consulting Corporation, a Philippine-registered business. When this policy says "we," "us," or "MemberVu," it refers to Zeniark.
Our designated Data Protection Officer (DPO) can be reached at privacy@membervu.com. This is the address to use for all privacy-related inquiries, access requests, and complaints.
2. What data we collect
We collect personal data through two channels on this website:
- Contact form — When you fill out the "Get in Touch" form, we collect your name, email address, organization name, organization type, and message. Submissions are processed by our self-hosted form service and delivered as email via Amazon Web Services (Amazon SES). See section 5 for details.
- Analytics — We use Plausible Analytics to understand how people use this site. Plausible collects only aggregate data: page views, referrer, device type, and country. It sets no cookies and stores no personal identifiers. We cannot identify you from analytics data.
We do not use advertising trackers, third-party pixels, or fingerprinting scripts.
3. How we use your data
Contact form submissions are used for:
- Evaluating whether MemberVu is a good fit for your organization (lead qualification)
- Responding to your inquiry and following up on a potential engagement
- Sending product updates or announcements relevant to your expressed interest, where you have not opted out
Analytics data is used solely to understand site performance — which pages are most useful, where visitors come from, and whether content improvements are needed. It is never used to profile individuals.
4. Retention
Contact form submissions are retained for 24 months from the date of last meaningful interaction (a reply, a meeting, a follow-up). After that window, records are deleted or anonymized unless a contractual relationship requires longer retention.
Plausible analytics aggregates contain no personal data and are retained indefinitely for trend analysis.
5. Third-party processors
We share data with the following processors, each bound by their own privacy commitments:
- Amazon Web Services — Simple Email Service (SES) — Delivers contact form submissions from our self-hosted form service to our sales inbox as email. AWS acts as a data processor under the AWS Data Processing Addendum (DPA). Region: ap-southeast-1 (Singapore). Submissions are transmitted over TLS. See aws.amazon.com/privacy.
- Plausible Analytics — EU-based, cookieless analytics. Does not collect personal data. GDPR-compliant and fully compatible with the Philippine DPA's proportionality principle. See plausible.io/privacy.
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any party for their own marketing purposes.
6. Your rights under the Data Privacy Act
Under RA 10173, you have the right to:
- Access — Request a copy of personal data we hold about you.
- Correction — Ask us to correct inaccurate or outdated information.
- Deletion (Erasure) — Request that we delete your personal data, subject to any legal retention obligations.
- Objection — Object to our processing of your data for direct marketing or other purposes.
- Complaint — File a complaint with the National Privacy Commission if you believe your rights have been violated.
To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@membervu.com with your request. We will respond within 15 business days.
7. Cookies
MemberVu does not set any cookies on this marketing site. Plausible Analytics, our analytics tool, is cookieless by design — it uses no persistent identifiers of any kind. No cookie consent banner is required or displayed.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes — such as collecting a new category of data or engaging a new processor — we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we may also notify users who have previously contacted us via the form.
Continued use of this website after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
9. Contact and complaints
For questions about this policy or to exercise your data rights, contact our DPO at privacy@membervu.com.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission (NPC) of the Philippines at www.privacy.gov.ph.
